Service Description
"Trou Soufleur" is a guided rope traverse to a sea cave carved into the cliffs of La Ciotat. Starting from La Ciotat, we take a short walk to the cliff edge before descending by rappel, suspended above the Mediterranean, to reach the route. From there, we move along a fun and varied itinerary that combines zip lines over the water, scenic walking sections, and short scrambling climbing passages, all with the sound of the waves crashing below. The route runs through the heart of the cliffs of La Ciotat which tower high above the turquoise sea. If conditions allow, we may even hear the “blowhole” known as the Trou du Souffleur, a local natural feature powered by the swell! This accessible route suits anyone in good physical condition, including children from 9 years old. No previous climbing experience is required. Duration: Allow approximately 2.5 to 3 hours for the activity (approach walk, rappels, zip lines, and climbing sections). Difficulty level: 1/3 The session will be confirmed once at least 4 participants have registered. Included: - Supervision by a state-certified climbing instructor - Loan of technical equipment (harness, helmet, ropes, carabiners, belay device) To bring (not included): - Transportation to the meeting point - Appropriate clothing (sportswear, approach or trail shoes) - Lightweight windbreaker or fleece - A small backpack (can be shared within a group) - Water (1–2 liters per person depending on the season) - Snacks for the activity (energy bars, fruit chews)
