Cap Canaille always surprises. The walls are steep and the climbing quickly becomes athletic, yet the grades remain accessible. What really stands out is the geology: rock formations unlike anything else, sculpted by erosion into improbable shapes. Between Cassis and La Ciotat, this exceptional site offers ascents where every pitch brings something new.

Some recommended climbs :

• Au gré du grès – (100m, 5c) One of the best, in a beginner friendly difficulty. Varied climbing, sometimes steep but never hard. 

• Deux vauriens trois canailles – (150m, 6a+); An airy and winding route that allows you to cross this impressive face by taking the easiest line. Some sections will leave you with unforgettable memories!

• Bienvenue chez Damoclès – (140m, 6c); A superb, varied route, famous for the fabulous and extravagant shapes of the fifth pitch.
