Why climb in the Calanques?
The Calanques offer a rare experience: climbing above the sea, on an almost luminous white limestone, in a silence that Marseille, just a few kilometres away, never seems to reach. The Mediterranean light, the contrast between the rock and the deep blue of the inlets, the possibility of ending the day with your feet in the water — this massif is an exceptional playground, right on the city's doorstep.
